Description

This fireplace opening tile was commonly used in fireplaces and tiled fireplace inserts around the mid twentieth century.

It is a slip cast tile, hand produced by ourselves

We generally hold a small stock of the tile in bisque (unglazed) form, and glaze them to order, so please allow about 6 weeks for delivery.

We only offer these tiles at present in single colours, not in the mottled finishes that were common in the mid 20th century.

The tile measures approx 8 inches long x 4 inches wide, and goes back into the fireplace opening by 2 inches.

The tiles are about 12mm thick.
