Description
This tile is usually used to make the vertical sides of the fireplace openings in Edwardian arched fireplace inserts but can also be used on its own if an arched fireplace opening is not being formed.
To get the brick bond effect, alternate tiles are usually cut down to 3 inches long.
These tiles are made from a standard white earthenware body and are fairly easy to cut with any water fed tile cutter.
The uncut tile measures 6 inches x 2 inches and goes back into the fireplace opening by 2 inches.
These tiles are a pressed tile made exclusively for Twentieth Century Fireplaces Ltd.
We hold the stock as the unglazed ‘bisque’ tile and glaze them to order.
As glazing is not an exact science, please allow 4 – 6 weeks for delivery of this item.
Please email sales@c20fireplaces.co.uk
for further information, as a minimum order quantity applies due to the specialist setup required for these tiles.
