Terms of Business

1. Introduction

These Terms of Business (“Terms”) govern all orders placed with fireplace-tiles.com (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you (“you”, “the customer”) agree to these Terms.

2. Orders

• Orders are accepted online via fireplace-tiles.com or by direct agreement.
• All orders are subject to availability.
• We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.

3. Pricing and Payment

• Prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
• Payment must be made in full at the time of order via the available payment methods.
• We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, in which case we will contact you before dispatch.

4. Manufacturing & Bespoke Products

• All ceramic tiles are made to order by hand; porcelain tiles are sourced from premium areas in Portugal and Italy.
• Custom, bespoke, or cut to size orders (+- 2mm) are non refundable unless faulty or damaged.
• We provide guidance on sizing, design, and suitability, but responsibility for measurements rests with the customer.

5. Delivery

• Standard delivery times are provided at checkout.
• You are responsible for providing a deliverable address and accurate contact information.
• Delivery charges are outlined at checkout.
• Risk passes to the customer upon delivery to the address supplied, but we will manage claims for damaged or lost items during transit.

6. Cancellation & Returns.

• Returns for change of mind are accepted within 7 days of delivery, subject to items being unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition. A restocking fee of 20% will apply.
• Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Verified items will be replaced or refunded, including shipping costs.

7. Liability

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
• Liability for defective products is limited to replacement or refund.
• We cannot accept responsibility for installation or misuse of tiles.

8. Intellectual Property

• All content, designs, and images on fireplace-tiles.com remain our property.
• Reproduction, copying, or commercial use without written consent is prohibited.
